September 27th, 2024 - Next House, Copenhagen  

The 1st social networking event of the Greeks in the Nordics was focused on expanding the network, by inviting a broad spectrum of Greek professionals from various industries for the first time.

The event was held on September 25th, 2024, in Next House Copenhagen. This was the first open event that brought together experts from industries as diverse as technology, healthcare, finance, engineering, architecture and shipping.

The working ethics in the Nordics was at the forefront of the discussions, with the participants sharing experiences across different industries and countries they worked before. Leadership in the Nordics vs leadership in other western countries was high in the agenda of discussions. Innovation in the workplace was also a hot topic, exploring how technology evolves the work culture and reshapes traditional sectors.

Talks in smaller hubs continued for several hours, post the arranged event’s end-time. After this event, it was evident that this community is vibrant and the demand of networking opportunities like this, with open and honest discussions are of high demand and appreciated.

Last but not least, after this event, the first volunteers to assist the co-chairs on future events have joined the team, so the Greeks in the Nordics Committee has now been formed for the first time.
